Review summary

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED! The staff was rude. The staff was not attentive. The ship was dirty. There were no disinfecting stations in the food areas. We waited over an hour for dinner. Drinks were not offered at dinner.

The drink service was terrible. The average wait for chair service was 20+minutes before any servers appeared. The wait time for the drink to be delivered was just as long. Forget about getting service at the casino bar. It was horrendous. The buffet food was horrible. There was actually a piece of raw chicken that I bit into. There was also a large piece of plastic intermixed with my bacon. The dining room food was not any better. There was a plastic piece of some sort in one of my scallops. The selection was poor. There were 25 of us cruising together and on any given night, there could have been an upward of 5 different people that had to choose something else to eat as they did not like the first selection. The dining room service was horrible as well. It took over an hour to be served dinner. We had to ask for a drink. It was just poor. And the worst part about it all was that there was NO hand sanitizing stations at the beginning of the buffet lines, entering the dining room or being offered by staff to "washy, washy". Just horrible.

The final bill was placed under the door the night before. I had a credit under $10 which I knew Carnival donates to St. Jude. Not a problem. The problem began as I waited in the line to disembark to be told that I had a balance on my account and would need to go to Customer Service. Carnival charged my room for 2 towels (that were in my room)!! I had to go stand in line for another hour to fight this charge. Phone calls needed to be made, etc. as they were not believing me. This also happened to my cousin as she originally had a credit as well. We were both charged for 2 towels and needed to go stand in line!!!

I'm sorry you had a bad cruise. I've never experienced any of those issues with Carnival. Sometimes a cruise is what you make out of it.

So, don't cruise anymore if it makes you that miserable. Sounds like you need a maid, butler and personal chef to go with you when you vacation.
