I loved this cruise. Found it to be a little to short for me. Takes me a day just to settle in after travel. Waisted it mostly on napping but made room service super convenient. Also made me fall in love with Carnival.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We flew in from NY to Miami airport with shuttle service purchased through Carnival. It allowed us to do everything at the airport check in desk. We even received our sail & sign cards. They checked in our luggage at the shuttle bus. So we avoided a lot of crowds and lines. Straight to the fun.

Food and Dining

The dining room and staff was all beautiful. The Buffet had a lot to choose from. Breakfast was nice and sea day brunch. The best part for me was the continental style breakfast from room service that made a lazy vacation great
Onboard Activities

Pools. Karaoke. Mini golf was a lot of fun and of course the water slide. Every deck party was entertaining. We even took a few dance glasses.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Music through the ages was a Carnival original that told a love story through music. I loved it. Best show was the "Love & Marriage" show with couples from the audience, just married. 5-10 years married and longest 40+. Very funny
Children's Programs
Did not travel with children this cruise
Service and Staff

My room steward was great and remember all of my groups names on day one. That was amazing.

Large. Clean. Mini fridge. More space than expected. Balcony made for the best sunrises.
Ship tip
So much activities that are fun. Look at the daily newsletter and plan ahead.
Did not see much of the island. Does have a nice beach walking distance from port. Took a submarine excursion. Was a little disappointed because we didn't see many fish at all. And the space in the bottom of the submarine boat was very cramped and hot
Great place to relax. All the food and drinks are provided by Carnival so no need to worry about lunch. Get out early because you have to take a small boat to the island and the wait can be long
Best excursion was a sail and snorkel. It was a nice tour of the island which included celebrity homes and unlimited Rum punch. The breeze and views were great and the staff were funny
