When we were on the Liberty we were treated like royalty. On the Victory it was ok. Activities overlapped so it was difficult to pick and choose. Overall it was relaxing. Food on the Victory was not as plentiful as on the Liberty. The buffet was more focused on when they were going to CLOSE the line than serving the guests it seemed to me.
Embarkation
2 out of 5
Although we had a suite and was present very early, we were boarded at the same time as all the other passengers -- therefore it was very crowded and congested! The information we were given was inconsistent with what other cruise representatives were telling us, i.e. what time we were allowed to access our cabin -- one person said immediately, another said not for 2 more hours.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Our regular wait staff (Bryan, Putu 1 and Putu 2) was superb and we became like good friends -- I actually gave them additional gratuities.
Again, we were told by some staff members that we could attend the formal dinner in regular clothes, where other cruise staff said we were not allowed to eat in the main dining hall without "dress up clothes." so we missed a very nice dinner because we did not bring formal wear with us.
Onboard Activities

Enjoyed the activities, especially movies on the ledo deck. Some shows we could not attend because costumes were too revealing.

Ship tip
Eat in the main dining room for a more relaxed experience.
We are AVID Royal Caribbean cruisers. However, at the onset of our cruising career, we started out on Carnival; although we haven't been cruising carnival for several years. We booked a reservation on a chartered cruise for February 2017 on Carnival Victory. Thanks for the 'heads up'. :-)
