Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The Lido buffet always had long lines (15 + people on each side) almost the entire time it was open, so my breakfast and lunch were whatever line was shortest, not always the choice I would want. We are early risers so were dissappointed that the full breakfast wasn't out until 7:00 am.

Entertainment

The juggler was very entertaining. the Magician never showed so they brought in one of the night club singers. half the auditorium left before it was over. The dancers were ho hum.

Children's Programs

understaffed!!!!

Service and Staff

room stewards and dining room wait staff were fantastic. The activity director was in way over his head, he was the only one on the activity staff that had any cheerfullness. The rest were a glum lot.

Cabin / Stateroom

We were sailing with our adult daughter so requested a balcony quad room. We got a room with a rollaway that sagged in the middle and took up the space between the bed and the couch. It was alway stored in the room, so we could never use the couch and had to walk on the rollaway to get out of bed.

Ports of call

Bridgetown, Barbados

We took a taxi to the beach and enjoyed the wonderful clear water.
Don't Miss: good place to buy fresh spices.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

We went to Magens beach, very crowded and no snorkeling.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

We took the golden eagle excursion, but the snorkeling was not good. the water was rough.

Castries, St. Lucia

Basseterre, St. Kitts

The grinding poverty was hard to see.
