A terrible experience

Sail Date: May 03, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Food was ALWAYS COLD and most of it insipid. If I want cheap, cold, bad food with POOR SERVICE, I'll just go to a $7.99 bufet.
Service was also terrible, people were rude, the ship was old and not clean.
We were treated like cattle, and it is horribly expensive to even have a soft drink.

The shore excursions were a ripoff since you could get the same when you got off the ship and ordered it yourself.

All said, we will NEVER cruise this line ever again, they have forgotten what "pampering" your clients on a cruise used to be.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Everything

Recommends Carnival Victory? No.

Ship Quality
VERY UNSATISFACTORY, see above
Food and Dining
TERRIBLE,
SEE ABOVE
Cabin / Stateroom
SMALL, CRAMPED, OLD TOILETS

Service and Staff
FAKE, PRETENDED TO BE FRIENDLY BUT WORKED ONLY THE MINIMUM.

The tips were not even earned.

MOST OF THE STAFF CAN NOT SPEAK OR SEEM TO UNDERSTASND ENGLISH, IT IS A SHAME THAT THE CRUISE LINE IS ABUSING THESE POOR PEOPLE THAT ARE TRYING TO COMMUNICATE BUT CAN'T, FOR THE PASENGER, IT IS A BURDEN AND IT'S EMBARRASING
Entertainment
MEDIOCRE
