Review summary

Never again! I want to be able to relax and enjoy. There was nothing relaxing about constantly being hungry and tired.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The food quality is absolutely horrid. Not just the low-quality ingredients, but also unsanitary practices and improper preparation and seasoning. The food is gross. Fast-food would be better.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Everything is small and low-budget. Same 5-6 people running all of the activities. If you are not trashed by noon, then you'll be very bored.

Entertainment

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Not enough staff.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
The ship's air conditioning and elevators were not functioning correctly. It is unacceptable.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Ok. Not the best, but ok.

Ship tip

Don't do it!

Horrible. We were treated like cattle. We had wheelchair passengers and we didn't get any care/empathy. Horrible experience!

My experience on the Venezia was nothing short of spectacular. Guess it's just not for you

We didn’t have this experience! Maybe another cruise line is better for you because you might just want attention.

Hard to believe

May I suggest a Seaborne or other upscale cruise line. They pamper you, not something you should expect on Carnival, Royal Caribbean, etc. for the reasonable prices that are paid. We love Carnival and have had great experiences during our 30+ cruises.

Sounds like a horrible time. I always say, research, research, research. There are different classes of ships and different dining options etc… I always book to my personal preferences, tastes, and expectations. On the flip side, I always, find positive in something otherwise negative. I’m sorry this particular cruise failed to meet your expectations.

All on you. Awesome food is available all day. Your extensive experience of 1 cruise adds to credibility.

Sorry but I disagree. There's ALWAYS something to eat on a cruise. Obviously you found something tolerable that you liked to eat.
