This was a special family cruise with multiple age groups. (age 5-74) There was something for everyone.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
chaos and unending lines

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
sit down dining in Marco Polo was excellent and service on table 178 was top notch. Buffets on the Lido deck were too long and the air conditioning was inadequate there. Obviously by the pool, seating is outside and room temperature, but inside should be cool and comfortable. it was not.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
after dinner shows, rope walk, water slides, trivial games, scavenger hunt, white night

Entertainment

4 out of 5
good, but not great

Children's Programs

never brought our kids to the programs

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Table 178 , fabulous service received from John and Christopher every night in the Marco Polo early dining. Room steward Randall was wonderful. He took care of everything!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was very clean, especially the rest rooms which are so important with so many people on the ship

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Randall took care of everything, supplied everything we needed. The layout was a bit cramped. The door to the bathroom was opposite the closet. If you came out of the bathroom, you would hit anyone standing at the closet!

Ship tip

book directly with the ship and skip "cheap cruises" travel agent....they hurt more than helped.

Ports of call

New York, New York

1 out of 5
Just went to New York to get on and off the ship. Both were chaotic

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

3 out of 5
Not a fan of the beach

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
beautiful!

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
wonderful setting, but the lunch served was terrible.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
Disorganized. Difficult to find a place to be picked up
