Review summary

I enjoyed myself. The food was good, servers were wonderful. The weather was rainy, but the captain did a wonderful job avoiding the worst of the rough seas. There were several unruly unsupervised children on board, but not carnival’s fault. I was expecting more Christmas movies to be playing since this was a cruise over Christmas.

Food was good, I do miss the paper menus. The fact that we always had to have our phones with us so we could look at the menu was frustrating.

I really wish they would open the back adults only pool to the kids when there is rain. The kids don’t have as much going on during the day and not all kids enjoy the kids club.

The ship was clean. It is an older ship, but it was clean and didn’t smell like an old ship. Sure there is some wear, but it didn’t affect my cruise.

Clean room, steward was good, but it did get a bit too warm at night. I wish we had brought a fan with us

We chose self assist and we had faster to the fun. Other than people trying to jump in line in front of us as we were leaving, debarkation went great. I would suggest to park your car so you are facing out and take a picture of where you park so you don’t forget. The parking garage can get busy.
