The Valor is an older ship but the entertainment was awesome! The food was subpar but the burgers and tacos made up for what the buffet and main dining room lacked. Overall we had a great time and I’d love to sail on this ship again.
Embarkation

Some of the port staff seemed to give different information. One person would say one thing, then the next group would say something different. Overall we got it figured out.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The food in the main dining room was pretty good. The buffet was fair. Guy’s burgers were good as always. Blue iguana tacos were my favorite. I wish they were open longer hours. The best food I had was at Paradise Beach at port.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
I didn’t get a chance to get in any of the pools or hot tubs.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Mike Delamont did the BEST comedy show! We laughed the entire time. He really made our cruise.
Children's Programs

My twins loved camp ocean. We also enjoyed the green eggs and ham breakfast party.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Service was great. The staff on the Valor really go above and beyond!
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
It’s obvious this is an older ship. The overall decor is dated but that didn’t stop us from having a good time. It was ALWAYS clean despite there being thousands on board.
Cabin / Stateroom

Myself and 3 kids slept comfortably. We had the bunk beds and a king.
Ship tip
Get the spiked coffee from the coffee shop near red frog pub.
We rented a private van for our group. He gave us history and a small tour of the island as we headed to Paradise Beach. We enjoyed all inclusive drinks and food. Best part of our trip!
This part didn’t go well. There were several people going down before their muster station was called. I think this is something beyond Carnivals control though.
I'm telling ya, it's a Carnival conspiracy. First they tried to sucker everyone with burgers and tacos to get them out of the MDR. Now they move to lousy MDR food to seal the deal! Shaq is in on it too! We need to have Oliver Stone bust this wide open
