Review summary

This was a 5-day cruise where the sun was shining and the sea breezes were cool. My mom and I had a great time even though we had some trials.

Embarkation

This was by far the worst experience I have had on 10 cruises. Port of New Orleans was chaotic and unorganized. I made all arrangements for my mother’s comfort because she needed a wheelchair. Well, we were put in a spot to wait for it, then moved to another to wait some more. As I looked to my left I saw about one dozen chairs unused. So I thought that I could be the one wheeling her onto the ship. At the airport I had no problem because of the shortage of pushers. WRONG! They took us to another section to check our documents and moved us along to the gangway waiting room. There, we waited 1 hr and 47 minutes to get a wheelchair. Unacceptable for anyone needing a wheelchair!

There were a lot of people but the water was refreshing and passengers behaved.

The Fun Shops

They had a great variety of items, more than some larger ships I’ve been on.

Shogun Club Casino

Until smoking is not allowed at all, I can’t rate this higher even-though it was super fun to win!

Photo Gallery

Until all ships upgrade to digital, trying to find your face among many it’s quite a chore.

We were treated like VIP’s. The wait staff learned our likes and dislikes very quickly and made us feel comfortable. They even pronounced our names correctly!

Ship Quality

The entire ship was clean and well maintained. Since we chose a mid-ship location, we were close to everything.

Clean, spacious, and comfortable.

Ship tip

Decorate your door! It’s fun and you won’t need to know your cabin number-just your deck.
