Our Family cruise was fun, and our children had a good time. More variety in evening shows would have been nice. Not changing carpet on the last night of the cruise would have created a better experience.

I didn’t experience the Pools because they were way too crowded With either children or drunk adults. The fitness center was nice and clean. The water slide was shut down most the time.

All common areas were clean. It would have been nice to have a common area or way to walk from one side of the ship to the other without a smoking environment.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was small but nice. However, Carnival Valors choice to replace the carpet on our last night was a huge disappointment, and poor choice in the part of carnival.
Ship tip
Carnival Valor Ship is very crowded with lots of children everywhere.
Glad you enjoyed most of it. Try traveling when school is in session for less children and crowds. As far as replacing the carpet on the last day, ships must perform maintenance while passengers are onboard since the ships sail every day and are usually only in dry dock every 8-10 years. Most people want them to perform maintenance, just as long as they aren’t doing it while they are cruising, lol.
