Review summary

We enjoyed the cruise and the Valor is an amazing ship. Just wish it was longer. Not enough time to do everything we wanted to do!

Embarkation

Carnival made the embarkation wonderful! Just note there is construction going on right next to the port in New Orleans right now. If you park at a hotel grab a taxi to the port. We tried to walk- not good. Lol

Study the maps before you get on ship so you won’t get lost. It’s a huge ship We loved it!

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

New Orleans is great! Lots of things to do. We stayed at the Omni Riverfront after a bad experience with an AirB&B. We got to our hotel late at night and still found a place a few blocks away to eat a nice dinner. And the hotel had a nice cocktail lounge. There is some construction going on near the port.

Cruises are never long enough.

I agree! If I had 49 days that wouldn’t be enough!!

There is never enough time to everything (at least I don’t think so). Time to book a longer cruise and see & do more.😉
