Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was always delicious and the staff very friendly and accomodating.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We stayed poolside mostly and enjoyed the relaxation. We watched one of the movies on the big screen. We played Bingo on the first day. It was a fun way to start the trip. We also did the behind the scenes tour. Meeting the captain and seeing it from his view was terrific.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was great. We really had a blast at the 90's Rock show on the last night. The cast was great. The lady (couldn't catch her name) that had the long black hair did a fabulous job at singing. Her voice rocked!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I never passed a member of staff that didn't speak. Everyone was so friendly. I even had a waiter call me by name as I walked by him working in the buffet area. It was so quick and it shocked me I didn't get his name and I feel bad about not being able to recognize him personally. I think it may have been Nelson but can't be positive. Miguel and Norman were amazing servers at dinner in the Washington. They always called us by name and interacted with us. Christian was a great help on giving ideas about shopping. I really enjoyed his presentations. Kevin is such an asset as a cruise director. He really keeps the energy going. Love Kevin! Taylor was really nice. He was with Christian in a presentation then saw him perform in the 90's show. His performance was awesome. His harmonica playing was sensational. We did the behind the scenes your. Michael was a fun guide. Carlos in the control room was very knowledgeable and did a great presentation. All were very informative in each area. It was a great experience. Great staff on board!!!!❤️

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
All was always clean, every now and then cups or bowls sitting in the hallways and elevators, but that's just due to people sitting them wherever they please all throughout the trip.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We were in 2286 and our cabin was good. I liked the location of it. The steward kept the room nice. It was always exciting to see what towel animal we would have when we got back. We didn't have any blue pool towels when we arrived( not sure if we were suppose to), but had some the next day. We used them and they were taken but not replaced. I was confused if we were or were not suppose to have them. I called for some and the lady said she would send them, but it took a while so we left without them. They were in the room when we returned later. It was a little confusing.

Ship tip

Catch at least one show and interact in the activites

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

5 out of 5
The port is user friendly. The process runs smoothly. We didn't do any excursions. We are from central La. and visit that area at leisure.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
It's a really nice and inviting port. Really gets congested moving through the shops down the walkway. Some stopping to shop when others want to just pass through was causing slow downs.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It was a smooth process. We were on second floor so the wait time wasn't long. Once the line started moving it was smooth. The ground staff (not Carnival) were rude and non inviting. One lady said welcome back as we exited the ramp. It was like herding cattle. I had to stop and regrip my luggage and got yelled at, "no stopping, keep moving". I was making it as quick as possible.
