As I said this was our third cruise on Valor (We have cruised 5 times now and we have 6 booked) but not the best one we have had on the Valor but we love to cruise and will continue to do so.

Food and Dining

The formal dining was a great experience as usual. The food was exactly as requested and the wait staff very attentive and the service was great. Food was great and very enjoyable. Lido deck dining was busy but the food was great and the staff maintained the cleanliness of the dining area. The Eagle Lounge wait staff were terrible. Attending the Punchliners Comedy Club each night was thirsty viewing as there was only one night that we managed to get a drink during the hour we were there. The staff was extremely slow and non responsive to drink requests.
Onboard Activities

The pool was good and as usual it was always clean. The basketball area was clean and it was an enjoyable experience. The Dive in movies was a great time as usual.
Entertainment

The stage shows were great and the rock tribute they did was outstanding!!!! Musicians were a little boring and the comedy club was good. Thea Vidal was outstanding and we went to all her shows. The male comedian (I can't remember his name) was okay, TJ our Cruise Director was great.

Some of the staff were outstanding especially our cabin steward. Some of the staff were extremely non interested in helping and at times unresponsive. Not sure if the Park West Gallery staff are associated with Carnival but one of the ladies there was extremely rude. Service desk was great and most bar staff were good.
Ship Quality

This was our 3rd cruise on Valor and it was always clean and staff worked constantly to maintain the cleanliness. We like the Valor.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was very clean but it was very small for 3 people. I was expecting a larger size cabin for 3 people and it was very difficult when they pulled the other bed down from the ceiling it really made it cramped.
Ship tip
You may want to take a fan if you have an interior cabin as the air does get really stuffy especially at night.
We always enjoy Cozumel. It's a fun place and people are really nice and fun and certainly go out of their way to give you a great experience on excursions. Love the shopping as well.
Carnival staff attempt to try to make this an easy experience and do well, it is the passengers that will not and do not listen to the staff that cause the issues. I think Carnival need to have stricter control over passengers going down to the deck for disembarkation.
