Review summary

Ship was nice & clean. Cabin attendant was excellent. The food overall, but especially the dining room food, was well below average. Dining room service was below average as well. We've been on more than 25 cruises, long & short on multiple cruise lines, so we have a broad base to compare.

Very narrow entry in this cabin with odd layout. We had friends in other aft ext balc cabins & 8454 had a different & inconvenient layout. We don't recommend 8454!

Ship tip

Fine ship for a short cruise; far better than most. You just don't get the amenities & overall quality that come with the larger ships. Set your expectations accordingly.

I have heard the waiters are trained to delay between courses. When I have told them we need to hurry they have zipped through the courses.
