Review summary

food, service, boat out dated. the whole cruise we felt like we where being rushed into everything we where doing. We felt like the service was fake and most of the time with only a few exceptions the servers where rude.

We where never called by our names, and when at the customer service desk they acted very snotty. When at the bar getting drinks they where very unsociable and rude especially when they seen you where not adding any tips onto the receipt, even thow you already pre paid tips.

As far as Tips , lines should of left it the way it was Tip as you go cash in envelope for Steward , In my eyes yes the crew lost out , As far as the fake ness of it all the smile is for trying to re coup lost wages , not your presence. A crisp $20 first day for steward and MDR staff bet they would remember your name.

Of course the ship is going to be a little dated it was built in '04! What do you expect? It to be just like the Vista

Maybe your attitude had something to do with it. Honey goes farther than vinegar.

The pre-paid gratuity goes to your room steward (did you tip him/her)...your dining room waiter (did you tip him/her...the staff washing your towels...the staff cooking your food...mopping the floors...washing the windows...cleaning the pool...sanitizing the pool chairs...loading the suitcases...printing the correspondence for the day...you still think that you don't owe the bartender a couple of bucks??

we always tipped even if it was just 1$ when buying drinks even though we paid gratuity and had the cheers package

pre paid tips are split between everyone. so doesnt ad up to whole lot...thats why its always generous to tip!
