Review summary
My favorite part was the kick off party!! Carnival knows how to make sure people have a good time! And the cruise director (Frankie) was all about the fun. Every night they had karaoke in the main bar - he was hilarious with his mullet wig. Had the whole ship singing along. I also liked the waiters sing along during dinner, flashing lights - the whole bit. Sweet and endearing for some reason. The Rum Bar (the one on the 5th deck) was our only complaint. A bit messy and the bartender refused to leave the mint out of my drink. He said he had to stick to the recipes - silly.
Our trip was already going to be short (only 5 days). And then it was cut by one day because a storm caused a delay in the ship's arrival for our embarkation). But we enjoyed the heck out of the days we had :) And Carnival fully refunded the day we missed. They really are the FUN SHIPS!

Ship tip
Watch the restaurant times. We LOVED Guy's burgers but they were closed in the late afternoons. The cuddle chairs at the front of the ship were great. Can't remember what deck they were on. But we were up high. And make time for the movies they show on the Lido deck. It's like a big drive in!
