Review summary
Our girls weekend to Cozumel, in two groups of three, was our first group cruise. We experienced a one day delay in arrival back to Galveston due to rerouting around a storm at sea (yes that's a free vacation day at sea!) we didn't want to leave! The food was great (except maybe the powdered scrambled eggs at breakfast. We had yummy omelettes instead). We were relaxed and comfortable in a large room with luxurious beds and tons of storage. The staff was super friendly, laughed with us and at us, and took excellent care of us. Stay away from the spa-I got an overpriced massage and while there foolishly tried to spoil myself with an upsale: a body composition analysis consultation I was led to believe would be a food-based talk with a trained nutritionist, but was a total scheme: $35 + tip commercial for $300 algae pills and not another thing. Despite that total waste of time and money dampening my mood, I really enjoyed the trip. The snorkeling excursion we booked with another company was a great time, but you could skip booking one and catch a cab to an all-inclusive very easily with no preplanning. There was no risk of missing the ship-we had plenty of time and shopped at the pier village before reboarding.

Ship tip
Bring a reusable cup to fill with ice water, juice, etc. Bring 3m strips, laminated bulletin boards, and dry erase markers to communicate via your room door. The Hub app (like a walker talkie) was very inconsistent for communicating with the others in your party.
