Carnival Valor Cruise Reviews - Q&A

Has anyone ever missed their flight that is supposed to connect them to their cruise? Jetblue just cancelled a bunch of flights out of Boston over the weekend to the south which makes me nervous. What do you do in a case like that?

If you booked your flights through the cruise line, they will either wait a reasonable amount of time for you to arrive or get you to the next available port to meet the ship. If you booked your own flights, it’s up to you to make new arrangements and you may miss the ship. That is one reason to always fly in at least 1-2 days in advance and have a good travel insurance policy.

current protocols do not allow you to join the ship at another port. hopefully that changes back sooner rather than later
