I suggest embarking later around 1-1:30. Its not that big of a deal to miss a couple hours plus your room will be ready and would be stuck with all your luggage for that time.

So after you bought alcohol at port, the ship let's you bring it on? Can you drink it, or do you have to check it?

Thanks for sharing! Highly recommend Faster to the Fun - skip the lines like Platinum cruisers. Sooo worth the money. Find it under excursions for the embarkation port.

Everything was good just a few changes could be made. Have some ones and fives when you get to Mexico. They are trying to sale something on each corner. Progreso is not as clean as Cozumel but it does have a lot to see. The 30 minute massage for $10 was awesome. White Hennessy $46 you cant find it in the states. Wait until you get to Mexico first to buy alcohol by the bottles. The cruise ship liquor store will honor the 46 with receipt. Everyone everywhere was friendly.
