Review summary

The overall cruise was very good. We had trouble the first ay because they confiscated our wine from our checked bags. We later found out that any wine or soda brought on board must be in your carry-on-luggage. After complaining to customer service it was returned the next day. So much fine print to read. Other than the wine incident this was really a good vacation to go on.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Had to wait outside of the terminal for a while in the heat before entry was allowed

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The main dinning and buffets were great. I wish everything was all inclusive. Seafood was a specialty item and had to be purchased on board. Soda and beverages were also an extra cost.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There were not many on board activities to participate in.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
There was more entertainment than you can partake in on a single cruse

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All of the staff members were excellent. Our room steward and dinning room servers were some of the best around. Erasmos Gordon, Filip Kanchev and Runiawan in the Paris dinning hall and DUDi and Arial our room stewards need extra commendations.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
I see the ship is scheduled for an upgrade next year and it's about time.

Cabin / Stateroom

I am glad you mentioned about the wine and soda in the checked luggage. It is wise to read any contract or papers you sign, and read the rules and regulations. Then there shouldn't be any questions. Maybe some other cruisers will take heed and save themselves some headaches.
