Review summary

Everything was great except our experience in Cozumel. Makes me really sad, that was one thing our kids were looking forward to the most. It was our first cruise and a learning experience. I don’t think I’ll ever book that excursion again.

The only thing is the steam room in the spa was broken. Every thing else was good.

Service and Staff

Everyone did a very good job! Our room steward was the best!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
It’s an older boat and showing its age but it’s clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was clean and comfortable. Size is small for 5 people but you’re not in the room a lot.

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

New Orleans was great! Everyone should go down a day or two early to explore.

Cozumel, Mexico

We had a swim with dolphins excursion. The water was so choppy we couldn’t do it! They let us pet the dolphins then wanted $100 for 3 pictures. We spent almost $600 to do the excursion and it was wasted!!! No refund, no pictures nothing to make up for that money we lost! Very disappointed and upset!

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

I would give this port 5 stars if we had more time here. We went to Chichén Itzá, it’s a 2 hour drive there and back so 4 hour round trip. It was worth it! We all loved seeing this place in person! The downside is there are lots of vendors trying to get your attention. I mean lots!! Hundreds of vendors everywhere! If you want to buy wait till the end almost everything is $1!

Disembarkation

It was easy. We carried our luggage out ourselves. Just have room card and ID ready and you are good to go!
