Review summary

This was our first cruise, definitely more to come. The Triumph was beautiful and would definitely cruise again on her! The food, camaraderie of the passengers and crew made for a very enjoyable trip.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Signed up with Faster to the Fun and was on the Triumph and in our cabin by 11:am. FTTF is definitely worth the extra bucks.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food in the Paris dining was excellent. Tried new things and enjoyed them all. Brancho was our waiter and treated us like family.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Too much to do it all! Everything we did was terrific! The Trivia games at the Capital Bar were very fun!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows, Bingo, Movies at the pool, everything was very fun and enjoyable.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Could not have been more friendly and attentive. Our Steward, Bosco was incredible. All staff on the boat were fun to talk to and very customer service oriented.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Outstanding! I read several reviews that were bad about the Triumph. Could not find anything to complain about. Naysayers must be from another competitor!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had an aft cabin with a very large balcony. A table with 4 chairs and connected to our traveling companions balcony as well. All of us on the aft cabins got to know each other and we called ourselves "Back of the Boat Folks".

Ship tip

The Cheers program was well worth it if you like adult beverages. Vinorica and Dayland from the Alchemy Bar became friends of ours. Super people and very talented. Not your regular bar by any stretch!

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Very "touristy" but nice. Hawkers were a bit of a pain.

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

5 out of 5
Much more like the border towns of Texas used to be when they were safe to go to. Prices much better and people friendly and real.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Faster to the fun helped here as well. We were in our car and on the way by 8:15 am. Hated to see "our " boat in the review mirror though!
