This is something we've been wanting to do, but honestly we have no desire to ever do it again. We checked it off of our bucket list. We both got bored with the "sea days", loved our excursions. We both would rather fly directly to a destination instead of spend so much time isolated on a boat.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Because I purchased the Faster to the Fun, it was wonderful, being able to go ahead of that very long line.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Guy's Burgers was horrible, very greasy burger and very greasy french fries. That was our first meal on board and never went back. The buffet at "Good Eats" was mediocre at best. Desserts were very pretty but not very tasty. I watched so many plates of dessert away.
We ate in the dining room one time. My food was excellent but my husbands was not. He ordered salmon and he said it was way overcooked. We were very disappointed with the food on the ship.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
One seminar that we went to, we walked out because it was so boring. We did attend the love & marriage show...enjoyed that and laughed a lot. Also went to the show that honored New Orleans on our last day. That was phenomenal! The singing and dancing was second to none. We also attended to class on debarkation and I'm so glad we did because that was very informative, especially since this was our first cruise.

Children's Programs
I didn't have kids with me.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
I can't say enough positives about the staff. They were all very professional and very friendly. I cannot say one negative thing about any staff that I met on board. In fact, we gave extra tips to them. Your staff works hard to have happy customers.....you've done well in training them.

Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
My husband and I was pleasantly surprised at how big our room was. We were expecting it to be a "matchbox"
It was very clean and our statements was wonderful, attending to all of our needs.
Ship tip
That they can eat in the dining room in casual attire. We learned that a little too late. My husband refused to get dressed up for vacation. He wanted it to be relaxed because he dresses up every day. And we brought way too many clothes........casual and comfortable is the way to go.
We are from Louisiana so we have been to New Orleans many times. We live about 2 and a half hours away so we drove in the morning of the day we were sailing out.
Our first excursion that we picked and paid for prior to sailing was cancelled so we had to pick another excursion. We were very happy with it. I don't remember the name of the excursion but we went to Passion Island. Food was not good at all!
Fabulous! This was the all inclusive beach resort at the Reef Hotel. Food was much better than Cozumel. I think we made a lifelong friend with our tour guide. He was wonderful, telling us about the history of Progreso, Merida, and Mexico on our bus ride to and from the Resort. He made it so interesting. Loved him and loved this place.
