Review summary
Yes, we would recommend this cruise to others. It is an older ship so take that into consideration. It could be modernized a bit but with the upgrades it is very nice. There is always something to do, you will never be bored. There is always food, so you will never be hungry. One of our best experiences was with our waitstaff in the upper London dining room. Aysis, I Waynan and Mariana made us feel like family. We are in the dining room every night on our cruise, not just because the food was good but because of them. We would sit in there just talking to them and learning about them and their life. They actually listened to us and remembered things about us that we had told them on previous nights. They are amazing people and we were sad to leave. Hopefully we will be able to see them again next time we cruise. I am a server, and I know how I want to be treated when I go out to eat and they exceeded that.

Ship tip
Some tips for the Carnival Triumph: make sure you bring something for motion sickness, the boat does sway quite a bit. Eat in the dining room for dinner, the food is always better in the dining room than on the buffet. Go to the comedy club, get there 30min early or it's hard to find a seat.
