Pleasantly surprised

My husband wanted to cruise and I simply had no interest. But I surprised him this Christmas.
The staff was efficient and kind. Only negative was the long lines at the coffee bar.
Food and service was excellent in the dining room. Met wonderful people.
Wasted money on the excursions but wanted to go through the ship our first time out. Will set them up on our own next time.
No real motion sickness although the waters were a bit choppy the first day.
The shows were okay. I would have liked a different type of music but understand that it's a buckshot approach.
Watch out for the cruise card. You can spend a lot of $$ before you know it.
Ship Quality
beginning to look dated and tired but it's clean.
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
dated but roomy and immaculate
Service and Staff
shows were good. Music :(
Children's Programs na
Onboard Activities
bingo? towel folding? ugh
Destinations and Excursions
Progresso still needs lots of development. Cozumel is great. Excursions were pricey for what you get.
Galveston, Texas
no problem
Progreso (Merida), Mexico
do something besides the beach here.
Cozumel, Mexico

If you don't go for crowds and noise then hang out at the pools in the back of the ship.
