Review summary

The ship is nice. Recommendation is more for the iternary. Leaving out of New Orleans is GREAT fun. Take a few days to check it out. Progreso and Cozumel are two nice contrasting towns to visit.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Carnival seems to be going down here.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
We had a very good dinner staff and found a GREAT server on deck that watched for our group.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Not much on the layout. No access to the forward bow section of ship. Its all about the inside.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Clean and well appointed.

Ports of call

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

5 out of 5
They continue to improve this town. It's much more laid back than Cozumel which is much more commercialized. Vendors every where hawk their trinkets but leave if asked. Beach is clean. Water is silty not clear.
Don't Miss: Take the double decker bus for $3. Then hit the beach for drinks and relax. Walking the area felt safe.

Cozumel, Mexico

Very commercial. Plenty to due. Been here three times now and have approach each trip different. Do what interest you and you probably wont be disappointed. (Ive dont the dune buggy's, walked the town and even taxied to a beach) All have been excellent.
Don't Miss: I liked riding around the perimeter to see the coastline its absolutley beautiful.

Pros: It a big pretty ship.

Cons: We did not like the layout compared to the other two (Legend and Fantasy).
