Review summary

Ship is well laid out, crew is 98% excellent, rooms are more spacious than NCL's rooms, food is TASTY (they are not afraid to use spices!) and has great variety. Cabins and entire ship are spotless.

Only thing I disliked is they did not provide free flavored coffee creamers such as French Vanilla. Only choices were half and half, or milk. I had to bring my own, or pay $ for "specialty coffee" at the coffee bar.

The only grump we encountered was the Romanian lady at Guest Services, can't recall her name. She violated so many of the training tips for giving customer service.....

The beach was infested with rotten seaweed, so we cancelled our plans for beach time. So glad we did - browsing the shops in downtown Progresso was fun. Renting a scooter and taking off into the "real" Progresso was fun as well.

Don't Miss: Go beyond the tourist trap shops and walk on into the deeper shops in town.

We went to the Playio Mia resort - was way too crowded, but it did offer many choices for activities and we enjoyed the sun. Wish we had choosen to do something else tho...
