Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was amazing and had so much on it.

Pros: The size of the boat

Cons: The bathroom odor

Recommends Carnival Triumph? Yes!

Food and Dining
The dinner menu was the best between breakfast/lunch and inbetween foods. Breakfast was okay. The potatoes were hard and the bread cold/hard. The ambiance was nice as well as the dining times.
Cabin / Stateroom
Our stateroom was located in the back of the ship so I expected it to be loud because of the engine however, the hole that was forming in the pathway between our bed and the window was annoying and scary. The bathroom smelled as if we were close to the "sewer" of the boat during the entire 5 day cruize.
Entertainment
The variety was nice. Really enjoyed the majic shows. The stage shows with the burlesque women was terrible. The women were too skinny and did not stay on beat and the dances were generic. They didnt have a lot of sexy movement.
Ship Quality
All were great. The size of the ship is overwelming good, no complaints about the layout, the restrooms I went in were clean and accessible.
Service and Staff
i enjoyed talking with the crew members. Everyone was from a different country and that was awesome. No one went above or beyond that I can remember but Im sure if we needed anyone to, they would have.
Progreso (Merida), Mexico
Progreso was pretty boring. We swam in the ocean most of the time. Will not recommend or select that destination.
Don't Miss: didnt have one.
Cozumel, Mexico
Had a great time. The different excursions were great. Playa Mia was the best.
Don't Miss: Snorkling, Playa Mia
