It was nice. Next. Cruise will probably try another ship. This was my first cruise, so I have nothing to compare it to.

We loved Carnival Sunshine and would do it again. Hopefully we will have the same good time and good weather!

My wife and I first cruise. Booked our next cruise as soon as we got home. Mel are cabin steward was amazing 5+ stars for him. The dining room food 5+. Deli 5+. buffet 4 stars to many people in small space. Playlist shows 5+ stars. We had a couples massage 5+ amazing!!! You may ask why only 4 stars. The serenity deck is full early not enough of anything deck chairs hot tub small. Not the crews fault. Blame your fellow cruisers. Charleston needs more destinations and or more ships.

We had a great cruise director, Mikey, who has since moved on to another ship. The shows in the Liquid Lounge were all GREAT. Food was just average, nothing special stands out about it. Avoided Nassau, been there multiple times, went to Blue Lagoon Island instead, enjoyed it a lot except for the meal not being included, Half Moon Cay was great as always.

I loved how friendly everyone was on board and even before we got on; the staff that checked us in during embarkation, Mikey the cruise director, the house keepers, waiters, and **some bar tenders. I will say that I found the majority of the bar staff to be quite rude on this cruise compared to other Carnival cruises I’ve been on. Sunshine was a beautiful ship and the highlight of our trip was definitely the Chefs table. Chef Lama was so fun and friendly and made our honeymoon!! The serenity deck was three floors but if you didn’t get out there at 7:15 every single chair was taken, or being saved so we only got to sit there one day during our 5 day cruise because I don’t believe in saving seats for hours. Overall it was a nice ship and we would probably sail her again.

Cruise was amazing very disappointed drove 12 hours back to Ohio and opened my box of liquor and was given the wrong bottles so upset, but you probably could care less . My girlfriend said you would just think I’m lying because I have no way of proving it 🤬

We love sailing on the Sunshine! This is our second time on this ship. It has everything we’re looking for and more. The highlight is the staff. They are friendly and professional across the board. The only staff I found unfriendly was the head maitre’d. We had an issue with our table assignment and spoke to him immediately upon locating our table and he seemed uncaring. But fortunately his assistant in the Sunrise was the opposite. Petrogh (spelling) made it happen. We were moved by the second meal. Dining room food and service were excellent. Better than our last cruise in the liberty. Angkor, Christine, and Benjamin were great. Even Putu and his assistant who was original wait team helped as they were next to us. Food ordered from steakhouse was great. Shows were fun and professional. The guy was spot Freddie Mercury which is no small feat. Only negatives: breakfast burritos eggs too salty consistently. Log jam around guys burger joint. Steam rooms not consistently operating. Need some repair in spa area and staff not as friendly as other areas. Another great cruise. Glad sunshine is locating in Charleston.

Cabin 5347 Deck 5 Back of ship w/ balcony First, our cabin was great! We had 4 adults. My husband and I had the king size bed, and our two adult children each and the individual beds… One of which drop down out of the ceiling. She had plenty of room up there with no issues. There were three closets, and plenty of shelf and drawer space. The bathroom was of course a Shipt bathroom, small, but doable. We found the entertainment to be outstanding, the food to be good, and the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We attended a cooking demonstration at the Steak restaurant, all of the stage shows, many of the comedy shows (we liked the PG shows better than the 18 & up shows- one can only take so much vulgarity), a lot of the trivia, karaoke, piano bar and other activities. All too notch! Our team in the Main Dinning Room was outstanding- wish I could have brought them home with us! We would definitely sail on the Sunshine again.

The Sunshine was a good next step up from the smaller ships we love. The ship was easy to navigate with using the aft elevators. We had a Grand Suite on deck 7 and it was big and nice. Best part was the size of the balcony. The Red Frog Pub had the best drinks and my family enjoyed the table games. Our steward was ok and our Dining staff was slow but that didn’t take away from our vacation. We have already booked another cruise on her next year!

This was one of the best places I’ve been on. Even though this ship was smaller than other boats have been on, we had an amazing time. Mikey, Cruise director is fabulous!

we love this ship. have been on it 3 times. the serenity deck is our favorite by far with the tropical look and the waterfall that flows into the water. you feel your in paradise on the ship. entertainment and the energy of all the hard working staff. AMAZING

The ship was great! Mikey does a great job the only complaint I would have is what is already known was that at lunch finding a table on Lido is difficult. One time we ended up sitting on the floor in a hallway to eat. Still overall had a great time.

Overall it was a fabulous trip, with perfect weather and great ports of call.

Lots of activities for everyone to choose from. Loved the shopping deals and the entertainment. Mikey really knows how to get the crowd going. Bring comfy shoes and be prepared to have fun and not worry about what you look like dancing/singing (we probably won’t remember or see you again).

Awesome cruise! Great ship with some unique features. Incredible crew!

The overall cruise was very enjoyable and relaxing . Ready to go again soon.

The crew were amazing. Mikey the CD was awesome! Our room was always well takin care of and we didn’t have to ask for anything. I found there was a lot of up selling. The cast for the shows were beyond great and I loved the shows. I can’t wait for my next cruise in November 🛳♥️
