Don’t expect much if you have been on carnival slot lately

Did not have enough musical shows. Overall, we enjoyed the trip and the service

My wife and I chose to cruise to celebrate our anniversary. We wanted to do some more mature excursions and shows. We were both blown away by the comedy talent of Mark Sweeny, Tommy Drake, and Jaylyn Bishop.

See above comments. I also felt like I had to rush to get everything while on the ship, food, seats for entertainment and as I mentioned lounge chairs on the Lido deck. Drinks, gift shops, pictures, etc. were over priced! I was a bit disappointed and not sure at this time if I'd would take another cruise on Carnival until I research other cruise lines.

This was my 5th cruise, first trip on Sunshine and our first visit to Amber Cove and Grand Turk. This cruise was the best to date. The Sunshine is an excellent ship; modern, clean, and inviting. The crew were wonderful in nearly all areas, especially our housekeeping staff, the specialty dining staff, and most barkeeping staff. We booked our excursions through and they were both phenomenal. Plus, they were smaller groups than the Carnival excursions (our Amber Cove Tour had 8ppl and Grand Turk Snorkling was 12ppl.) Carnival always has dozens of ppl. on each excursion. If you are tired of going to the Bahamas, but can't do 7 days, Do this Cruise!

Carnival should put all the smokers on or in a certain section so the smokers would not mess up my balcony experience on 3 different occasions I had to go inside. #annoyed I know they say no smoking but people was doing it. Long wait on phone to report it. Overall nice experience on the Sunshine ship.

food was not up to par. entertainment was lacking.

We were one the Carnival Sunshine. All Staff was great, Cruise Director (Mikey) and Assistant Cruise Director (Chris) were EXCELLENT. They did a great job letting you know what was going on on the ship and when. They did a great job getting everyone involved. The food was great and we ate in all dining facilities except Sushi. Never had anything that wasn't up to par. Servers were great and very helpful. Lots to do on the ship!!

Mikey our cruise director was excellent. Our Stewart who cleaned our rooms were amazing. Great time lots of things to do. But the buffet needs to learn how to pair foods together. some meats do not go with flavored rice. there were never any mashed potatoes with anything. and all seafood was very fishy in smell and taste. like it was not washed properly.

All of the islands are beautiful, unfortunately St. Maarten was the most devastated by hurricane Irma. The beaches were more rocky because of the hurricanes. They were still beautiful.

If getting away for a relaxing vacation experience is what you’re looking for - then this is for you! The weather was fabulous, it never rained, but the seas were “rocky “ on the whole trip over. The trip back home - the seas were so smooth & pretty. We didn’t do any excursions because this trip was just about relaxing.

We had a fabulous time on this ship for the second time. Except for one evening dining experience, everyone was so helpful and treated us fabulously! I would absolutely do this ship and this itinerary again!

Overall the cruise was nice. Wouldn't recommend adding wifi didn't really work. Also you are charged taxes on your drink package if you purchase a drink before the ship leaves Florida

The cruise was a great experience for us, we took the grandkids with us and they loved it. I felt the kids were safe, Jordan was in the teens club and couldn't had had a better time anywhere and Rebekkah is 18 years old and she enjoyed the activies she went to. Us growups enjoyed the programs, especially the Military program, Randyl is Army retired. And boy, the food is delicious.

This is my 6 time going on a cruise and my parents first time and they can’t wait to go again we all had a amazing time

We are Diamond members and loyal to Carnival but would like to see some changes made, especially lower to music level.

The carnival sunshine would’ve been great had it been bigger spaces for the amount of passengers it holds. You can’t enjoy any shows, serenity deck areas, eating areas being that they didn’t accommodate the large number of passengers. The staff felt overwhelmed and couldn’t keep up with large amount of passengers. The ship expanded its rooms but didn’t expand the entertainment areas along with this. The comedy club was overcrowded so sometimes we couldn’t watch the show etc. the serenity deck was always packed and people “reserving” seats. My cruise could’ve been better if wasn’t overcrowded.

We had a fabulous time. Our Cruise Director (Mikey) fantastic. We really enjoyed his team and their enthusiasm. This team works very hard and always maintains high stamina with the cruise experts. We loved all the activities with the team!

It was a great experience my girls had a blast and all the crew members were very friendly and nice will go again on carnival cruise.

Disembarkation was a difficult process. Overall an enjoyable five days.
