Review summary

This was our first cruise and we are so glad we chose Carnival! We enjoyed being able to escape reality for a few days and have a blast!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
As a 1st time cruiser- this was very efficient!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
There were so many options to choose from! My favorites were Guy's Burger Joint and the dinners at the Sunset Restaurant

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I loved the deck parties, sunsets from the Serenity deck, the comedy shows and the DJ's! We also enjoyed how friendly and happy the other guests were. Everyone seemed to be having a great time

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Both comedians were great! We also loved the music- whether it was with the DJ's or the live acts near the bars - we loved singing along with the crowd

Children's Programs

We took a couples trip- no children!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Cabin- Josie made me feel like I had a home away from home. At the Sunset- Martin, Widodo and Arinnun took exceptional care of us. Our dinner service was very professional and I looked forward to it every night. We loved the singing and dancing at dinner too!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The entire ship was incredible! It was my first cruise and I am so glad I went with Carnival. I like how each area had its own personality and vibe. My favorite views were from the Serenity deck and I loved the formality of "tea time" at the beautiful Sunrise Restaurant

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was way bigger than I anticipated! The bed was super comfy. I loved the views from the balcony and the ability to sit outside and enjoy the ocean. Clean A+

Ship tip

Pack your party dresses, but bring cute flats! There is a lot of walking- and its easier in flats. Oh- and so many couples wear color coordinated outfits- go ahead and have some fun with it. We're bringing this lil tradition home with us.

Ports of call

Charleston, South Carolina

5 out of 5
Charleston is close to home- so we loved having a port close to us (3hr drive)

Nassau, Bahamas

We did the Arawak Cay excursion. I still can't believe how incredible the colors in the pics turned out- they look photoshopped! This was a chill-laid back excursion. Clean, professional and stress free. The beach is a lil rocky- so wear water shoes.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Again- very efficient and orderly.
