Great first cruise for my siblings and their families. They are hooked.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Just a little slow and tedious but not bad, computer glitch halted those behind me causing a late sailing
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was good everywhere, but I only ate from the buffet for one breakfast.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Didn't do much other than lay around.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Main lounge shows were great. The last performers had to confine themselves to singing due to the oceans swells. Comedy shows were inaccessible due to crowd.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Service was great everywhere except the shake spot. Woman there closed earlier than scheduled and didn't seem to keen on making amped up shakes.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Mostly clean. Ship is showing its age wear wise.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
twins made into king were too close to the wall on one side to comfortably approach the bed
Ship tip
If you dine in the aft "Sunrise" dining room, take the time to learn how to access it's entrance on deck 3 from decks 2 or 6 (5 if you can stand the smoke in the casino).
Rented a car for $120 a day and chauffeured my family around for their first taste of the Bahamas. BEWARE! Driving in Nassau is not for the faint of heart.
