Review summary

A few firsts happened on this cruise. Boarded wearing a winter coat, internet was absolutely unreliable. Our cabin had bed bugs. I won $150 on a slot machine. We did the Sunshine 12/21 and again 12/22. We probably won’t be sailing on her again though. This was our 4th sailing in a year and we’ve done 10 cruises with Carnival. This was the first time we got off of a ship disappointed.

Embarkation

Charleston is very different from most ports. Even with shuttle there is a lot of walking. Plan accordingly. Had no issues boarded very quickly. Arrived at 10:45am on ship by 11:30am

Food and Dining

Food was excellent at steakhouse. Lido was fine. Guys was great. JJs Asian was decent but not worth $18 pp Italian was decent, but again not worth $18 pp. Main dinning room was fine, just a bit noisy for us. Table for 2 is not very private. Food was good. Pizza was good.

Cabin 7225 was the cabin where the bed bugs were found.
