Romantic getaway, ate plenty, drank plenty, napped everyday. Good beach, overall had a great time, wishing I was back on the boat.

Not a fan of the port. Having only cruised out of port canaveral in the past this was strange for me. They get you through it. From parking to onboard was about an hour. It worked though.

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Ate MDR twice for dinner, both sea day brunch and breakfast. Food ok, service was great. Steak house not impressed with food. Alta Cucina for dinner was best meal ever-blown away. Blue Iguana, deli, Guys, and pizza all good! Bar service-they are short and it showed there, but we had patience and always had a drink. We didn’t go hungry or thirsty at all! No complaints. Alchemy bar was fave.
Onboard Activities

Comedy show good, waterworks on last sea day was amazing! ❤️ slides (I’m a big kid) as only us and about 4 children back there! 80s party was amazing! Casino-played black jack for 3 days, invested $50 and cashed out on last day with $50. 1st time at black jack and had some much fun.

Quiet cabin. IWAN took good care of us. Interior cabin was quiet and great for naps. Fridge didn’t work, but the AC did! I actually got cold! 😂 perfect space for 2 people. Liked the Elemis shampoo and body wash. Used the slippers and robes 👍 great water pressure in our shower.
Ship tip
Eat Cucina. Skip steak house. Take deli or pizza back to Havana bar area! Bring straws if u drink frozen drinks. Don’t overpack, if u bring large suitcase don’t try to carry it off on debark day, go to water slides last sea day round 10am, sea day tea IS still happening 3-4 aft dining room. Take the stairs when u can. Watch 80s party from upper decks if u don’t wanta be right down in it-super fun, bring ur fave 80s shirt and some glow sticks! Have fun and be patient and flexible, enjoy ur vacation, and we sure did!
Beautiful clear water. If u like beach go enjoy! Did resorts world for $40 thru the ship. Facilities are great. Would not go back due to drink prices: mixed drinks = $18 😮 had Bahama Mama and 1 can of Sands beer for $34. Walked down the beach to blue umbrellas and found a bucket of Kalik for $40. Still expensive but better. I’m the future will get golf cart or taxi to store for beer (bring a soft insulated back pack cooler) and beach. Will also bring snorkel gear next time, saw lotsa small fish off pier and at beach we were at!
Pre covid on debark days we eat MDR breakfast and I have Bloody Mary time as the crowd clears. No alcohol on Cheers final day-wtf? Oh well, still worked on non alcoholic drinks, so had good food. Walked off bout 9:15..jammed on the gangway and had about 15 minute line..was rainy so huge line for a shuttle to parking lot, NO THANKS-we walked bout 12 minutes to the car with ease. Took total of about 30 minutes stepping off boat to getting to car.
