We did this cruise because we love Charleston SC. The ship overall was a major disappointment for us. Not well kept, and not well designed. We did have a nice cruise, and did enjoy a good portion of the experience, but there were just too many negative aspects to this ship and cruise line. The Havana bar for one, was never open with entertainment. It was dead. Other venues were also lacking. But it was the lack of cleanliness that really turned us off.

Ship design sucks. Can't get there from here in many cases without going up or down, then front to back. Really strange. On a few occasions in the morning, when we went to use the public restrooms they were out and out discusting from the previous nights partying. Come on clean them !! The windows throughout the ship where so dirty. Sitting in the restaurants looking out the windows, we wondered when was the last time they ever cleaned them.
Cabin / Stateroom

8333. Nice cabin. Strange shape, but functional. Balcony was very very big on aft corner. But ony two chairs, and they would NOT give us more. There was constant water dripping from drain pipes onto our deck, so we needed to be selective of where to sit. Maybe that's why one 2 chairs ???? We really did like the aft balcony as it was very calm and relaxing.
Ship tip
Do not sail on this ship unless the itinerary is your major reason. We did it because of Charleston.
A bit long, but what should you expect. Lot of people and all wanting to go home. Any issue was not the fault of the cruise line, was after we got off the ship.
I’m glad you enjoyed a good portion of your cruise. The cruise destinations are a big part of how we choose our cruises. Half Moon Cay is our favorite place. We really enjoyed cruising on the Carnival Magic back in May. Thank you for taking the time to share your review.
