Review summary

Didn't enjoy having to carry a phone around to see menus. I go on the cruise to get away from cell phones and technology. The ship was smaller than my past ones but I still enjoyed it greatly.

The main dining room was very good. The pizza portion was a disappointment with the lack of flavor. The buffets had a good variety to choose from. Ni Made great in the dining room and at breakfast. Rajesh an excellent bar tender in the casino lounge. Didn't enjoy having to carry a phone around to see menus.

We did mostly Trivia and laying around the pool.

The comedians were not as good as the past. Didn't see any shows this time because of our late dining and their time schedule we had to choose which one we went to.

Cabin was great and Henry was awesome. The TV reception was not good. We could not even see or hear the channel we were instructed to for disembarkation.

Enjoy life without internet. It is great.

Was surprisley fast. The TV didn't work well enough if our room to see the info needed for disembarking but it worked out.

It is possible to put the phone away and just enjoy the week. Menus are posted daily and lists of daily events are available. Vacation is only as good as you let it be

Appreciate your feedback. I agree that it’s frustrating having the cruise information on the HUB. It still is possible to get by with a daily paper “Fun Times” and menu, but it’s not ideal. Glad you managed to enjoy your cruise in spite of it.

How awful! That could kill the whole cruise experience. You're away from technology, but now have to make sure you charge up and carry around your cell phone brick that doesn't work for anything except the cruise line app. 🤦🏼‍♀️

At least Carnival did one thing right, you can see the MDR menu for the week so you can decide to do a specialty restaurant or whatever ahead of time. And they still have paper if you ask for it.
