Review summary

It was a good cruise. I have been on what I consider as better cruises than this one. However, I did not participate in most of the on board entertainment or facilities. The weather was very windy and the temperatures were cool, not conducive to sun bathing or swimming.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Lido buffet was okay, main dining room was okay, did not go to specialty restaurants

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
did not do any on board activities

Entertainment

4 out of 5
First female DJ I have encountered on a cruise and she was pretty good and chose good dance tracks. Cruise director Christian was excellent and funny.

Children's Programs

no kids

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
room steward was excellent, some trouble getting prompt service at some of the bars, waiters were professional

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
LIMELIGHT lounge is hard to find and get to Hard to get to 3rd floor of main dining room for handicapped people(aft) dining room

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
room was small, too small to hold a scooter and have room to walk around. Handicapped shower leaked and splashed on the bathroom floor( which it usually does on Carnival ships)

Ports of call

Charleston, South Carolina

4 out of 5
Silent port so it makes disembarkation a challenge without the loudspeaker announcements

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
I like the Nassau port. It has a flat paved surface with shaded areas to rest in while walking from the ship to the entrance of the main building on land

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
excellent! very well organization handicapped person procedures
