All in all it was a good cruise. The excursions were well planned and the activities on board were well planned. Certainly something for everyone to do while on board if desired.

Personally I felt like the buffets were lacking, the food was so-so and was usually not hot. The specialty restaurants were excellent, the dining room food was usually good.

Room stewards were always friendly and helpful. Waiters were attentive, maybe not friendly but they are busy. Mikey was an excellent Cruise Director, very good at his job.

It took us a couple of days to get our bearings on board. The common areas were always clean and maintained.

The room itself was comfortable enough. If I were to book another cruise it would certainly not be on Deck 1. Sometimes it was noisy. The room was usually clean.
Ship tip
Before the cruise everyone was raving about the Carnival Sunshine, we had a good experiece on the ship but to me it definitely needs upgrading and refurbishing.
