Review summary

Great cruise. Recommend reading the insurance carefully. It basically only covers illness and weather that cancels the cruise and not other family emergencies. We had a issue arise with our family that compromised our cruise but thanks to the work of Carnival's staff we were able to have one of our family join us mid-cruise.

We had a fantastic snorkeling excursion at Grand Turk but limited options beyond taking the excursion. The port area was walled off.

Easy access to old san juan with an easy walk from the cruise terminal. Recommend the fortress and castle.

The snorkeling excursion was fantastic but the port itself not great. Suggest you head to the water if visiting St. Kitts.

Our excursion was cancelled because of weather so we rebooked and repaid onsight and had a great snorkeling day despite the initial glitch. Beautiful beaches too! And finally an opportunity to experience the local culture.

Rooms aren’t ready till 1:30 on every cruise unless you get FTtf or are platinum or diamond. Port area was not walled off at grand Turk not sure what you are talking about.
