Review summary

The only thing I question is I paid $300 before the cruise for a jump on my final bill, Carnival charged me over $700 on my credit card a few days later......DO NOT RECALL SPENDING THAT MUCH.

I have never had a problem with carnivals billing. They have always been right.

Sounds like you should stick to a cash account or get a credit card with a low credit limit when cruising... At least that way, when you have reached your limit you will know it.... We had a cash acct & didn't spend it all on our 6 day cruise...

Next time check your bill each day. You can do this from the TV in your Stateroom, and if there is a discrepancy, you can get it resolved at guest services before leaving the ship.

We cruise Carnival all the time, my husband checks our spending on the TV a couple of times a day and it let's you know exactly what you have spent. Not sure how you wouldn't know that unless, you're new at cruising. If you check as you go, and find an issue, you can have it resolved before leaving the ship. It also tells you, exactly where you spent it.

Did you prepay gratuities? If not that adds a chunk at the end of the cruise.

That doesn't sound correct. If you are being charged for things you didn't get, contact your credit card company.

The bill is itemized....maybe you shouldn't drink so much and lose track of what is being spent, lol

The Only thing that bothers me is, You get a statement on your spending, but it never, ever balances out...is this just a Carnival Thing (Have only sailed Carnival) have been told to try a different line. Not 100% sure that if I do a cruise again that it will be w Carnival
