Overall was a great cruise. I do not think we will do the anytime dining again, but for the most part, no complaints and had a great time.

I always love the food on Carnival. I rarely eat at the buffet. If you going to rate the food on a cruise based on the buffet, it will be average buffet food, but the specialty restaurants and main dining are great. Loved the sushi at Bonsai. Also at Bonsai is a Wagyu beef short rib appetizer that was one of the best things I have ever tasted. It was only 2 small pieces on a steamed bun for $4, but I would order it again in a heartbeat. Also, at $5 for the spicy tuna roll, that is a great price, and it is a large roll. Of course, the Guys burgers are always good, the deli sandwiches are good, the Quatro (4 cheese) pizza is great. The main dining room always has something on the menu that is good. I have had some entrees that were just ok, but if i did not like it, I ordered something I did like.
Onboard Activities

Unless it is bad weather, there is always something to do. Mini golf, pool tables, basketball, ropes course, etc.. If you could not find something to do, it is not because there was nothing to do.
Entertainment

I did not see any of the shows in the main theater, but we did go to a comedy show. He was funny, but was extremely vulgar, which I was not a fan of, but I knew it was an adult show going in.

Service and Staff

Our room steward, Rorie was great. He always greeted us by name, did great towel animals and had a great sense of humor. We did the anytime dining, which as hit or miss with the wait staff. a couple of nights they were great, one was even doing magic tricks for the toddler at the table next to us, which keep us entertained as well. There were couple of nights that they were very short, arguing with each other and just not very friendly. We usually do not have this problem when we do the assigned dining.

You can definitely tell it is an older ship, but it was clean and neat.
Cabin / Stateroom

Good size for just 2. We do miss having a mini fridge in the room though. Most of the newer ships have them, but only certain rooms on certain decks on the Sunshine have them.
stayed in port and did some shopping. Loved the Christmas decorations. Most of the stores sell the same things, but it was still nice to get out and walk around to see the city.
Did an excursion to swim with the turtles. We saw 7-8 turtles ranging from small, to very big. The tour guide stated they were approximately 10 - 30 years old.
Not a lot to do but lay on the beach or at Margaritaville, or shop, unless you did an excursion, but we have been to Grand Turk a few other times and there is not much to it.
