Review summary

Cruise ship was knocked out of commission Sunday night when the stabilizers failed to work and the ship listed from side to side causing serious damage to restaurants and cabins. Injuries were reported, all minor. Why is this ship still sailing. This ship is almost as bad as the Carnival Conquest.

No refrigerator. Cabin is smaller. Door handle to balcony broke off leaving me stranded out on the balcony for over 2 hours at night. Ship broke down in Puerto Rico resulting in missing the port of Grand Turk. Our 10th cruise on Carnival and we got no freebies. What a scam. Was supposed to get gambling money, but they didn't have our name on their list.

No matter if the ship is new or old stuff is going to break. We been on the sunshine 1 time and we are going back on her next year. We love the sunshine, yes it is a older ship but the staff on board take good care of everything. I am not scared to go on her again

Check his stats, one cruise in 2015, this is someone who loves drama, and blowing things way out of porportion. I've never sailed on Carnival, and this will not stop me, 140 Days and counting.

Sounds to me like you complain when you don’t get “freebies.” Ive cruises several times, gamble too, and we don’t always get free stuff. I don’t get pissed and leave bad, false reviews though. I’ve been on both the Sunshine & the Conquest - both lovely ships! No major injuries were reported after this list to ONE side, not back & forth. Also, only minor damage was reported, the ship was able to finish the entire cruise. I hope people are smart enough to read Carnival’s own website or John Heald’s posts and not just trust people like this who post false information!

I’m sailing on this ship the 23rd and can’t wait. Praying nothing serious happens but I’ll be on vacation and won’t have to cook or clean for 8 days. God is good

The ship did not list from side to side. It listed to the left for one minute and it was worked on and corrected. Scary, yes, but correct information is a must.

You o my have 1 cruise listed. I looked at your review on the Conquest even though the cruise isn't listed, and it was from a few years ago. Conquest gets great reviews.
