I would not go back on the Carnival sunshine. I love Carnival ,but I have to say this ship is not for smokers, the smoking area is directly in the sun, away from the activities. The smoking area on deck 3 is better but still away from activites. Boring!

kywoman1966 You don’t explain anything. What a poor review. If you only eat in the buffet you are certainly missing out on a lot. I feel sorry for you. I love Carnival and the Sunshine.

It's funny how people have different experiences. The Sunshine is not perfect, but it's probably my favorite ship. I think it comes down to what you do and where you hang out. We spent a lot of time on Serenity and in the Havana bar. We didn't mind the liquid lounge, but very much disliked the comedy club. We only went to one comedy show on the Sunshine as a result. We loved the food choices for lunch (Guys Burgers, Cafe Del Capitano, Mongolian Wok and the Blue Iguana Burrito bar). We also liked being able to grab a quick breakfast at the mini buffet on deck five on sea days. We almost always eat dinner in the MDR. That said my least favorite ship, so far is the Conquest, but I know many people that love that ship. When we went on the Conquest it was on disrepair and badly in need of drydock, which it has since done.

Not our favorite ship, but would not hesitate to sail her again. Did not have sewer smell in 3 sailings on her.

Agree. We always smelled a sewer smell and found it very hard to navigate around the ship.
