Review summary

Improvement on this ship would be GREAT! When I returned one of my parents informed me someone had gotta sick from the smell on the Carnival. This was my first time on the Carnival. So people warned me not to take Carnival and some people love Carnival. My first cruise was MSC Divina and that ship was a 10 except for the food only. I will cruise Carnival again, but only on their NEW SHIPS!

The whole Ship needs to be painted and repaired on the stairs and other spots. Please get rid of the sewer mess in the hallways and other places on the Ship.

I bathroom smelled like a sewer and mold was in the shower. I wiped down everything and still was not comfortable in that old room.

@travisr0403 Sorry I don’t drink beer only wine 🍷 and I never get drunk....lol this just was my opinion on this Ship. I guess MSC Divinia Ship spoiled me. But I do look forward to Carnival Horizon. 😊

I will be going on my 10th Carnival cruise in 24days!! This will be my 3rd on the Sunshine, this my favorite ship. I have never had a problem with a bad odor

This may be the first negative review I've ever seen by the new Carnival Sunshine. I say new because it was completely gutted into a new ship a few years ago.

You can use one cruise on an older ship as a basis for not caring for the mature ships, but we cruise older Carnival ships often (last one was 2 weeks ago) and have no problems with odors. So did you, personally, get sick, or did “someone, somewhere” got sick? Interesting...
