I've been on more than 4 Carnival Cruises and the Sunshine was a huge disappointment. I won't judge all Carnival ships by this experience, but it's not the Carnival I remember.

Main dining room service was wonderful; staff was friendly and attentive. Specialty restaurants were also great. The majority of staff in the buffet area looked unhappy, to the point of being rude at times.

For the most part good. Room stewards were great! Waiters were attentive, Guest Services, didn't seem to concerned with the long line of complaining customers.

Cabin size was very roomy for 4 people. Sleeper Sofa was broken and hard to set up, so we had to leave it open the entire trip. That took some room away, but overall it was a very nice cabin.
Ship tip
Don't sign up for the best internet service @ $140/day. It didn't work the majority of the time.
Once the cruise was over, so was the customer service. I wondered by the previous cruisers looked so unhappy when they were disembarking, and now I know why. Carnival staff was rude (laughing at customers that needed help instead of assisting them.) They didn't seem to care once the cruise was over.
