Review summary

Entertainments. We were told we could bring a bottles of wines in which we did. However, our wine was confiscated and wasn't return. wish they had a better policy on what you can or can not bring and the process of which you can bring anything of that nature onboard.

I'm guessing they either packed the wine in their checked in luggage, or tried carrying on more than the allotted ONE 750 ml bottle per adult 21 or older, and you can only bring it on when you originally embark. Otherwise I can think of no reason for it to be comfiscated.

You are correct. it needs to be in the carry on. if it's in the checked bags then they may confiscate it.

I read that if you aren't carrying it on and it's actually packed in your suitcase they take it.

Why was it confiscated? Did it not meet requirements?

You are allowed 1 750 ml bottle of wine per person when embarking. It has to be carried in your carry on.
