Review summary

Overall I was pleased with the cruise, especially for the price and from where we embarked and debarked from.

We had purchased the drink package, which was nice, except when we hit the 15 drink limit. I get it that 15 drinks may be a lot, but for a Sea Day, it really isn't.

The first night the celling leaked. My room stuard was attentive,  it the plumber litterly grunted once when he came into the room and then left. I had to call maintenance a second time and get a supervised to show up to get the plumber back and get it fixed. Carnival made it right by giving us a free steak dinner. It was just a little inconvenient when you are trying to go to bed and water, and I hope it was just water, was dripping on the headboard.

The staff was great. William, room steward, Ivanka floor manager (I think) and Danni from the Red Frog Pub were great.

It was an ok cabin, after the leaking stopped. Having two twin beds pushed together was less than optimum for intamcy with my wife.

Ship tip

Tons of food options. Sometimes you have to go up or down a floor or two to get to where you want to go. Sunshine was a little chopped up.

It can happen in any room and on any ship. They non-stop run these things so eventually things are going to break.
