Review summary

The staff are fabulous. Emma the cruise director was outstanding. We only had two issues. 1. We bought endless bubbles for soda and could not get waited on by bar staff for just soda. They literally ignored us. So the endless bubbles plan was a waste of money. 2. The food in main dining was horrible. We are big breakfast and late lunch. We went for dinner every night but no one in our group received any dish that was what you would say is good. The ship has a quirky layout so take the time to check out all areas.

Ship was clean the design is chopped up. The pool deck should be made of materials that is not so slick.

Housekeeping was outstanding. No refrigerators! The location was as good as any.

Ship tip

Don't waste money on endless bubbles package you can't get waited on at the bars for just soda.

We had the same trouble three years ago with the dining room when we went with 'your time dining'. Once we went to a scheduled time, the food was hot and a lot better. There are definitely some weird areas on the ship where you think you can get somewhere going a certain way - and find out you can't.

We were on the Sunshine in October and outside of having to ask that the food be served hotter, we had no food issues. There were a lot of older people onboard and they were erring on the side of safety. Once we brought it to their attention, we never had an issue. Not sure why you had a problem with the soda package.

It does have a weird layout but never had an issue with soda it helps to tip and they remember those who do

Sunshine is a fabulous ship. SO MANY DIFFERENT VENUES FOR FOOD. Great sea day brunches and breakfast daily in dining room. No reason to ever complain....!!!!
