Sunshine is most definitely handicap accessible!!!

When a ship is surrounded by salt water 24/7 it's going to have rust. Why can't people understand this?

I'm in a scooter and always load the accessible deck plans on my phone. The Sunshine is wheelchair accessible all decks except aft deck 10 stairs only.

Personal investigation will provide a successful experience....choose wisely.

Do you contact Carnival before purchasing the cruise, to find out how wheelchair accessible the ship was? This particular ship is one of the oldest ones in the fleet. And while it Das been dry docked for renovations a few times, it's still pretty darn hard to make a ship that was built before handicapped access, wheel chair friendly. I do sympathize with you. My husband is disabled so we're familiar with the problem and plan our cruises accordingly.
